Question:
What is the difference between the IEEG-Portal and the Data-Portal? And what does IEEG-Portal stand for?
Answer:
The IEEG-Portal is the working name for the International Epilepsy ElectrophysioloGy Portal. A common mistake is to infer that this portal only hosts "Intracranial EEG" data. Although this is currently true, we are planning to expand the data to include other types of electrophysiological data.
The Data-Portal is mentioned in various locations, and specifically refers to the part of the IEEG-Portal that allows the user to interact with the EEG data. The IEEG-Portal also includes forums and Documentation.
