Over the last couple of months, the IEEG-Portal team has been working hard to transition the Portal from the servers of the University of Pennsylvania to the Amazon Cloud. In addition, we are transferring the datasets to Amazon S3 storage. This transition will allow the project to expand and serve more users simultaneously and allows us to focus on new capabilities of the IEEG-Portal.
The IEEG-portal that is currently available is still hosted on the servers at UPenn, but we are expecting to switch over during the last week of September. The main difference you will notice, is that everything will look more polished and that the portal will be more stable. After transitioning, we will be working on: 1) improving annotation capabilities, 2) importing additional data-sets, and 3) Improving the Matlab-toolset.
We are excited to see that multiple people have requested user-accounts. As you might have noticed, we now allow new users to sign the user agreements and policies when they request a user-account. We are looking forward to feedback through the forums on ieeg.org and hope that you will continue to help us create and maintain this project.
