1) It is currently not possible to download entire datasets directly. It is however possible to use Matlab to get consecutive segments of data such that you can create your own datasets. We know this is sub-optimal and we are currently developing methods to download larger datasets directly.
2) This is currently not supported but I'll make it a priority because it seems like this is should be supported. Currently, annotations can only be downloaded as a CSV file from the "Annotations" sidebar in the EEGViewer.
We are planning to release a major upgrade to the portal during the last week of March. This upgrade has significant improvements to the portal. I'll try to include a getAnnotations method for Matlab if I find some time over the next two weeks to make it.
